Vin Santo Del Chianti Classico Doc

Today as in the past, Vin Santo is a highly appreciated wine and has been part of tradition in Tuscany and Chianti for centuries: in the past it was offered only to guests and family members.

The grape varieties, Malvasia Bianca del Chianti and Canaiolo, are left to dry on traditional straw mats while aging takes place in chestnut casks.

An extraordinarily elegant wine that is closely tied to the noblewoman Countess Elisabetta Balbi Valier, Giovanni’s mother. Luigi Veronelli referred to her as the “La Donna del Vinsanto” (The Woman of Vinsanto) for her expertise and passion for the production of this historic wine.
